Device review :Nintendo 3DS

Ok, I will divide this into subjects, give a review for each, then at the end give an overall review.

Battery:
This is a very disappointing aspect of the 3DS. While the 3D is sleeping, battery life is OK, minimal at best. When playing 3D games in 2D, battery life is weak. When playing 3D games in 3D, battery life is extremely weak. I mean, most games look amazing, but you will not be using 3D very often with the dismal battery life.
3D:
This is one of the things the 3DS is famous for. Images look outstanding, no question. Things looks crisp, and really 3D. You can even 3D a game that has 2D movement, although it just doesn't look the same as a real 3D game. While the 3D does look great, I cannot stand it for long periods of time, and will mostly just be a bragging rights feature.
Camera:

The camera quality is minimal,  but then again, this was not meant to be a camera, but only a gaming device, so when i reviewed the camera, i didn't review it as another free piece of software nintendo gave to us. The quality is bad, i said, but its really something to just play around with. You can make several effects, and take a few real photos, or customize them. The video is also a nice feature. While you can take 3d video with it and it looks OK even with bad quality, 10 minutes isn't enough to use it as a real video. This was a nice touch to the 3ds, but as i said, really just a toy.
Web:
We never imagined web would come to gaming devices back when the gameboy color came out, did we? It's here now. The web is not a replacement for web experience on a computer. Far from it. But if you want to make a quick google search, or keep it on an email page, you could use it a little bit. It makes it a little bit tricky to use with the double screen, and the typing, but i still find my self checking email on it and occasionally google searching. The only real flaw that could be fixed easily is an option to make the keyboard take up the whole bottom screen.
Games+Preloaded Games:
This is where the 3ds shines. The games look outstanding,  and the preloaded games look amazing, by showing things that aren't there, yet still giving you a feeling that you are in real life. Its amazing with those games how you can see water right in front of you, but its not there. The 3d also van be used in those games, combining into one awesome gameplay. I cant really describe the gameplay that well. The best way to know what it feels like is to play it yourself.
In all, I give it:

  1. I like your review on 3DS, I have played it only once. My main issue was when playing it got me dizzy. Maybe its just something one gets used to.

  2. Yes, that is an issue, but I decided not to count it because 3d is 3d, and most of the the time is makes you dizzy. The solution i found to that problem is finding a setting where you like the graphics, the turning it to 2d and gradually, at your own pace, turning it higher till at the desired setting
