Siberia Frost Blue Headphones V2 Review

Wow, its been a long time. I actually forgot my password to this account. Bet you thought I was gone?
But I'm here, for another review.
This time: For the Siberia Frost Blue Headphones V2.

Pretty nice, huh? Yep. These are supposedly gaming headphones, although very useful for other purposes, obviously. But these are not for everyone. There is a cheaper verson, the Siberia Steelseries V2, which is the same without the "special edition" bragging rights, and the cool lights. I find these amusing, and for an extra ten dollars, these can be yours. If not, every section except for "Bells and Whistles" applies to that as well. This headset connects via USB.

Sound

This is obviously the most important part of the review. The sound is quite excellent, and is not too heavy on the bass in music or games. If you need more bass, you can always adjust the sound settings in the handy SteelSeries program adjuster, that can be downloaded with the product. It has a simple interface, with numerous premade settings that will satisfy the vast majority of your needs. If they do not, you can always make a custom one. I use one for gaming, and one for music.

For the record, there are a few things that could be made better. For one, the MMO setting sounds very, very bad too my ears, and I do not use it, even for MMOs. Other then that, I really do not see anything wrong with the sound, with its big speaker, that can be customized for even the pickiest of people.

Microphone

I think the next biggest reason one would buy a headset, which includes a microphone unlike headphones, is for the hopefully decent recording quality, or for speaking. It is a decent microphone, I would not say amazing, as it cannot come close to comparing to standalone microphones like the Blue Snowball. That being said, it records regular sound well, and for everyday use, you would not notice a difference. Words spoken over it can be heard loudly, and clearly with ease. The mic is flexible and easy to move around.

However, this too is not without its downsides. It is very easy for your breath to be picked up by the microphone, and you have to position it in a way that it does not directly come in contact with your mouth, unlike some other microphones, which have foam around the microphone to keep your breath from being heard. I find this annoying, but it is pretty easy to fix, and you get used to it.

Build-Quality

This headset happens to have very comfy earcups. While some headsets take time getting used too, I felt great with this one right at the start. The way it is built, much of the pressure is taken off of your head. The earcups do not feel too big on me, but people who have small ears may not feel comfortable with these. The only part I see being fragle is the little wires that connect the part that goes on your head to the earcups. However, I have used these for 2 months with no problems.

Bells and Whistles

Now, now, this is what separates this headset from the rest. It may not have a voice morpher, but who needs one? It has cool glowing lights on the side of the earcups, that shine soft blue light. The intensity of the lights can be adjusted, as well as the pattern in which they flash. My favorite feature, is that you can have the lights flash with the volume and sound patterns of what you are listening too! Other's around you will be in awe of your headset.

The Verdict

So, after all that, it is time to decide if I recommend this. With the high quality adjustable sound, a decent microphone, and some stylishly awesome features, like blue lights, which are also adjustable, and a clean, smooth, white color that compliments the flashing blue, you cannot go wrong with this. If you are a person who appreciates some nice sound quality, and a few extra features, go ahead and get it. I definitely recommend this too you.

Tracfone LG 505c Review

Heya guys! Yeah, i know still havent been keeping up with my blog, but hey, here I am ready to give you another review. LG 505C, a touch screen and QWERTY keyboard phone with a bunch of features. Lets get started!

Keyboard
As you can see, the LG 505C has a moderately sized full QWERTY keyboard. What you don't see in the picture, and any avid Texter will appreciate (Texing while driving is BAD!!!!! Don't do it!) Is a back lit keyboard. The back light of the keyboard, while not especially bright, is enough for any dim enviroment you might be texting in. It will automatically turn off, though, after a short period of time, which for me, is too short, but its not a big problem for me, as I don't text much.

Calling Quality
Lets face it: If your buying a phone from Tracfone, your not wanting an iPhone. Your buying a phone. No matter the features, the only real thing your actually going to be doing on this is calling. On your side, the quality is ok. Nothing really more then average, sometimes less. On the other end, its actually great quality, at least in my experience. Overall I'd say the calling experience isn't too bad, but you can definitely do better.(i forgot to say, the speaker quality is actually excellent.)

Touch screen
Let me make this clear. You are not buying an iPhone that you can barely touch and it will respond. You need to actually touch this thing. it does not need to be pressed down hard, and is still pretty sensitive, but again, you need to touch this thing. Also, in my experience i needed to calibrate it a few times to get the touchscreen working right.

Other Preloaded applications (and application support)
This phone is pretty much as much as you can get, in terms of featured applications, from tracfone. It comes with a calculator, some demo games (pretty slow- this phone is NOT meant for gaming) a doodling application, schedule features, a camera, a whole bunch of settings, a browser, and some multimedia. it also has support with the low end java market, and you can get some games (for minutes) on the phone. They play okay, but load pretty slowly, and all are really casual. And, i want to mention this, I REALLY like the lock code feature.

Misc.
This thing has the standard connectors. It has micro sd card slot, a volume rocker, a cover and uncover charging slot, a lock button, and a camera button. The camera is pretty decent at 1.2 megapixels, no more then i would expect from a $90 phone The clock has several settings, including analog and digital. You also have a homescreen you can put 9 contacts on, as well as drag applications you need onto you main home screen

Conclusion
Overall this is a standard, solidly built, excellent Tracfone. It offers a variety of features. Any qualms a buyer has on this phone would be the asking price of 90 dollars. I recommend this phone, but if its too expensive for you, or you don't need the keyboard and want to spend less, try the lg 800g.

iPad 3 review

Hello guys. Haven't reviewed anything in a while, sorry for that. Anyone, I'll see if i can make that up today.

Reviewing the IPAD 3

Yes, I know this came a few months ago, and this is a late review, but i'm still gonna give my opinion on apples newest iDevice.

The graphics.
Retina display huh? Is is all its cracked up to be? Why, the new screen looks amazing. I mean AMAZING. Plus, the colors look great, so that's a bonus even if your app doesn't support the new display. At normal viewing, the pixels blend together. Before i used this iPad, i thought my old 3rd gen ipod looked amazing. I was completely wrong. The graphics will amaze you whether you change from an already retina display iPhone or iPod, or a first generation iPad, iPhone or iPod touch you will be amazed by how many pixels there are. Whether this is a good thing for everyone, i shall talk about later in this review.

The camera.
The camera is a nice feature, but its not totally needed, and most people with an iPad don't use it much as a camera. The iPods and iPhones do great jobs at this, but the iPad is just too bulky.  The camera isn't on par with the 4S, however is about the same as the iPhone 4. It takes good pictures, and handles very well the infrequent use i put it thorough.

The battery.
We all want the retina display, but there is a catch. The retina display takes a lot more power then the iPad 2's display, and so apple decided to give it a bigger battery. This does give it some extra bulk, but not much, and isn't very noticable unless you put them side by side. Getting back to battery life, it is definitely not as good as the iPad 2. With my use, and I use it mostly for gaming, it lasts maybe 5 hours maximum. But if you use it for other tasks, like browsing the web, checking facebook, occasionally watching a video, etc, it would last a lot longer.

The portability.
Not much to say on this. Basically as portable as the iPad 2, though it is a teeny tiny bit thicker, as I said before.

The conclusion.
All in all, a very good device. If you are a gamer or a person who watches a lot of movies, without any current tablet, go ahead, get an iPad 3. But if you aren't going to use it for any of those heavy usage type of tasks, and are only going to type on it, browse the web, etc, do yourself a favor. Save $100 and get an iPad 2. It will suit your needs just fine, and save you some money to. if you already have an iPad 2, please try not to upgrade. There really isn't that much your missing, and the iPad 2 is still a really good tablet.

Review Of HP Pavillion DV6Z

Ok, didn't get around to doing this review. Now i will. First, the specs. The RAM, at 6GB, is pretty much sufficient for anything the average computer user needs. But, i need to play Atlantica Online at max graphics. The CPU is pretty much good enough for average user again, but it sometimes(ok a lot of the time) lags when I use some high CPU usage programs(like battlefield 3). I could have gotten the model with a little bit more CPU, but if I wanted the best computer possible, i wouldn't go with this one.I got the 2.4/1.8. The reason i did is because this computer is not the best, nor the worst, but it has great price value. It also has a fingerprint scanner, as an added bonus. I found the sound quality coming from this machine OK. But I got a headset, so thats not a problem for me. It has plenty of USB ports, as well as HDMI, for those times when this 15.6 LED screen jsut isn't big enough. Heres something i found nice. The mousepad is backlit! All in all, this computer is awesome for its cost. I give it.....

Game Review: Super Mario 3D land

Okay, Hi guys! Super Mario 3D land won, so I'm going to do a review on this game.
I'll start with the graphics. They are breath taking. I mean the view, combined with the 3D, combined with the actual graphics, you get one game that really knows how to show off its graphics. Its captivating, even while in 2D, as you can see above. Shadows are there. The graphics will be an improvement to any person, as well as impress even hardcore gamers, who need the best graphics to play.
Now I'll talk about the actual gameplay. If you were impressed by the graphics, when you actually play the game, you will forget the graphics. Throwing boomerangs, turning to stone, killing monsters, flying, I mean come on! Its not easy to not be impressed bythe graphics, but its nearly impossible to resist the urge to become in love with this game. Traps, ink, heaven, you name it, this game's got it. My one complaint is that when the screen is moving forward, sometimes you can go too far ahead, not see yourself, and die. I think its
a great game, and any of the flaws it has are glitches or things in most of the game you can avoid. I think it deserves

Device review :Nintendo 3DS

Ok, I will divide this into subjects, give a review for each, then at the end give an overall review.

Battery:
This is a very disappointing aspect of the 3DS. While the 3D is sleeping, battery life is OK, minimal at best. When playing 3D games in 2D, battery life is weak. When playing 3D games in 3D, battery life is extremely weak. I mean, most games look amazing, but you will not be using 3D very often with the dismal battery life.
3D:
This is one of the things the 3DS is famous for. Images look outstanding, no question. Things looks crisp, and really 3D. You can even 3D a game that has 2D movement, although it just doesn't look the same as a real 3D game. While the 3D does look great, I cannot stand it for long periods of time, and will mostly just be a bragging rights feature.
Camera:

The camera quality is minimal,  but then again, this was not meant to be a camera, but only a gaming device, so when i reviewed the camera, i didn't review it as another free piece of software nintendo gave to us. The quality is bad, i said, but its really something to just play around with. You can make several effects, and take a few real photos, or customize them. The video is also a nice feature. While you can take 3d video with it and it looks OK even with bad quality, 10 minutes isn't enough to use it as a real video. This was a nice touch to the 3ds, but as i said, really just a toy.
Web:
We never imagined web would come to gaming devices back when the gameboy color came out, did we? It's here now. The web is not a replacement for web experience on a computer. Far from it. But if you want to make a quick google search, or keep it on an email page, you could use it a little bit. It makes it a little bit tricky to use with the double screen, and the typing, but i still find my self checking email on it and occasionally google searching. The only real flaw that could be fixed easily is an option to make the keyboard take up the whole bottom screen.
Games+Preloaded Games:
This is where the 3ds shines. The games look outstanding,  and the preloaded games look amazing, by showing things that aren't there, yet still giving you a feeling that you are in real life. Its amazing with those games how you can see water right in front of you, but its not there. The 3d also van be used in those games, combining into one awesome gameplay. I cant really describe the gameplay that well. The best way to know what it feels like is to play it yourself.
In all, I give it:
